Creating functional art for luxury living

A simple yet elegant bench and shelf was needed in this small nook to act as a changing area before exiting to the hot tub. Cherry wood that was harvested from a tree that needed to be removed was used to create these unique features. The dry and stable wood was cut to size and finished with a satin waterproof polyurethane finish to not only endure many relaxing trips to the hot tub but the potential water that could easily damage the wood if it was not finished thoughtfully.
