Creating functional art for luxury living

These three large gates have been the largest and heaviest I have created to date. They really turned out quite nice and make an impressive statement when you enter the backyard. The large double gate is approximately 8 feet tall and 6 feet wide where the smaller one is about 8 feet by 3 feet. All are 3 inches thick. The gates were all hand sanded and finished with a high quality stain that allowed me to give it a bit of a weathered look without making it look old and tired. Once the gates were mounted we realized the clasps would not work with the design so I had to alter the original so it clasped at a 90 degree angle. Now everything works and looks incredible.
